Looking for help!

Message par swillebr »

Hello everybody,

I am Sjoerd from the Netherlands and planned to build an expedition truck. While searching for the perfect vehicle I recently discovered the Iveco 80.17
The car is not known in the used in the netherlands and I am looking for some information. I tried google translate on the forum but it doesnt work very good.

I hope someone can answer a few of my questions :
- Is it possible to make it a 3 persons cabin with all people facing forwards ( the firetruck with 2 seats facing the side)?
- What is the fuel consumption of the vehicle when driving with 1000kg camperunit at the back?
- If I fit the biggest tyres possible what will be the maximum speed?
- What is the length of the vehicle behind the cabin of the 80.17 big double cab and the one with four seat ( 2 looking to the sides)?
- Are spareparts easily available?

Many thanks!

Best regards Sjoerd

Hello sjoerd

in first time, it's in the use to pass by the presentation before writting a message.

Now for your question. For the two photos...

The first, you can make 3 places as you want. It's the 80.17 second generation. The cabin is more longer tan the first generation.
For the consumption, between 22 and 25/l per 100 km.
For the tyres, i beleieve that you can change them.
For the behind veicule of the second image, you can go to 3.6 m from my memori. I will wath the red paper tomorrow. For the first image i don't know.

In hope to help you.

Hello,

Sorry, I did see that..... my french is horrible! But I posted a message!

Sorry I start with that many questions but there are no iveco 80.17 driving in the Netherlands as far a I know and google translate make weird things
from the french technical texts!

-The fuel consumption sounds like a lot offcourse but reasonable!
- 3.60 sounds good! I had something in mind around 4 meters so that perfect!
- I guess the third seat has to be put in the middle, is there enough height?
- What is the standard maximum speed?
- I really like the looks of this small truck and I think it even fits in a shipping container!
- Are the still being sold by the French government or is there a nice dealer?

Best regards,

Sjoerd

RE Hello

so for your différents questions;

maximum speed 95 KM/h but yout consumption will be excessive
For the third seat, you won't be enough place... The motor bridge take a lot of place.
For the container shipping, i think it will be impossible. Too high
For the selling, you can find some trucks in france if you have time you can find one...
Hope to help you.
